Salary Information

The annual salary range for this role is $115,000.00 – $153,000.00 however, Stratagem considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced Contracts Manager with an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with SSBI. In this position, you will be responsible for performing full life-cycle Contract Management for a portfolio of high value contracts.


As a Contracts Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Leading negotiations for all major contracts
  • Negotiating and administering NDAs
  • Analyzing and negotiating contracts received from the government and industry prime customers identifying areas of risk and developing negotiation strategies
  • Coordinating with government and industry counterparts to establish professional working relationships, which facilitate successful negotiations and exchange of information
  • Supporting functional areas (i.e. Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain etc.) by providing contract advice in support of proposals, agreements and other activities as required
  • Supporting Contract data input/entry into Contractual/Financial systems

Required Skills

  • U.S Citizen with a TS/SCI clearance with SSBI
  • BS or BA in an applicable field (business, legal, etc.) is required 
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Government Contracts Management
  • Fully conversant with all applicable Government regulations including, but limited to, FAR, DFARS, DOE, NASA, and other agency requirements
  • Extensive experience negotiating terms and conditions of the contracts agreements that will govern relationships (Prime and Sub)
  • Detailed knowledge of FFP/FPIF/ CPAF/CPIF/CPFF/T&M and hybrid contract types 
  • Have demonstrated experience working both directly with the US government acquisition organizations as well as a supplier to the major aerospace prime contractors
  • Have a working knowledge of DPAS and Export Regulations
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products as well as business systems (i.e. SAP)
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external
